PRESENTATION
An intensive 6-day artistic immersion focusing on the music of Verdi, Donizetti, and Puccini. Overbridge the gap between the rehearsal room and the stage, culminating in a tour of 3 public concerts fully characterized in period costumes, gowns, and stage makeup.
ACADEMIC & ARTISTIC PROGRAM (AUGUST 17 – 19)
During three days of intensive training, participants will focus on:

Comprehensive Preparation of a Lyric Concert: Building the repertoire from a complete artistic perspective.

Stage Work and Character Building: Developing dramatic identity, intent, and interpretive coherence.

From Musical Study to Stage Presence: Tools to transform technical work into real stage communication.
CONCERTS (AUGUST 20 – 22)
The process culminates in a series of public concerts in unique historic venues:

Fully Staged Production: All concerts will be fully characterized. Participants will perform in period costumes, gowns, and stage makeup, ensuring a complete professional production. Each concert represents the realization of the work achieved in direct contact with a live audience.

Preparation for a real-world professional context. The goal is for each participant to experience the complete cycle of artistic creation.
FEES & REGISTRATION
Participation in the "Kings and Princesses" Masterclass has a fixed cost of €390.
The fee includes:

Note: The tuition fee exclusively covers academic training and participation in the programmed concert series. Concert participation is non-remunerated. Accommodation, transport, meals, or any other personal expenses are not included in the price.

Participants will stay in Santander (Cantabria, Spain), a city with a rich cultural tradition, open to the sea, and deeply connected to music and the performing arts.
The serene and luminous environment provides the ideal setting for concentrated artistic work, fostering both reflection and creativity throughout the masterclass.

Palacio de Elsedo — Pámanes (August 20 & 22)
The Palacio de Elsedo is one of the most representative Baroque landmarks in the region. Its complex and unique architecture combines diverse volumes and structures that engage in a constant dialogue, creating a setting of immense visual richness. Today, the palace also houses a Contemporary Art Museum, establishing a fascinating bridge between history and modern creation that enriches the overall experience.
Beyond its historical value, the palace offers an exceptional atmosphere for lyric performance: a space where proximity, acoustics, and the architectural weight of the surroundings contribute to an intimate and deeply meaningful stage experience. In this setting, the concert transcends a mere musical presentation, becoming a powerful dialogue between the voice, the space, and history.

Church of the Major Seminary of Comillas, Cantabria (August 21)
The Church of the Major Seminary of Comillas is an iconic landmark of immense historical and architectural significance in Cantabria. It is a solemn yet welcoming environment boasting exceptional acoustics, making it an ideal venue for the performance of lyric and choral repertoire.
Within these walls, students will have the opportunity to perform in a unique context where the music is amplified by the building's stunning aesthetics and its atmosphere of contemplative depth. This space is designed to foster respect, concentration, and a high-quality shared musical experience.
ACCOMMODATION
To facilitate the stay of our participants, the organization collaborates with a University Residence offering special rates during the course and concert dates.
The residence provides fully equipped rooms with private kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring comfort and total independence. Additionally, the residence features an on-site restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner services are not included in the course fee).
